State Capitol

Who would have thought? A trip to the state's Capitol would be so romantic? Since it's my husband's off, and it's our first time spending the day together without our child, the experience was quite exhilarating.

The moment we saw those trees. Were they cherry blossoms? I'm not quite sure, well, they were very lovely nevertheless. We knew, we made the right choice of stopping, even though it wasn't in our agenda. Those trees were so inviting. We took photos. One local was quite amazed with me. I was giddy like a teenager when he agreed to take mine and my husband's photos. Well, I was really ecstatic. I wanted to lay on the grass.

My husband and I watch The Mentalist. You know, my guy Patrick Jane? Hehehe. We never missed an episode. So that's why this trip was memorable. Aside from the beautiful trees and intricate design on the building, I was kinda hoping to see Simon Baker. :) I know, I know, it was a long shot. Since my husband told me there's only 4 or 5 episodes left.

Anyway, a trip to the state Capitol is a must. There's a luxurious Hyatt hotel just across the street. The associates there are nice too :) one valet took our photograph. And a lot of shops close by :)
