Why do we forgive easily? I thought it's hard to forgive if the one that wronged us was somebody dear to us. I guess, the only logical explanation is, we forgive because we want to. We don't, because we really don't want anything to do with that person. It really is all up to us. We always tend to follow our hearts for the ones we love.
