Our reading party was a success :) My coworker came with her kids. Her kids brought their own books. I lent Consuelo my Milk and Honey book and she loved it. Yohan and Paula read for an hour before they got bored and played with scooter. I specifically told them when they get bored they have to tell me because I don't want to force them. So Yohan being the sassy girl that she is told me she's bored as well as Paula after an hour of reading. 😜. The three of us continued on for another half hour then stopped and started chatting. Jacqueline told me what she liked about the book she read. I then told them I liked the discipline that it taught us. Consuelo agreed and was thankful for the idea. :) I really enjoyed every minute of it.
