This book is 10 years old next month, July 21, 2017. I read this for 1 and 1/2 days. I was one of those that waited til midnight and bought hard copies of Harry Potter. I was also one of those that saw the screening at midnight with my friend Dylan. I even bought an audiobook for my iPod for The Half-Blood Prince, even though I got a hard copy from Costco. Who uses iPod these days? Hehe I thought it is obsolete now.
I read the the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in high school, around 1997-1998. My best friend Lirio lent me her copy. So, I'm not one of those that read the book and watched the movies because it's what's hip. I just really love reading. Or maybe I was forced a little bit to read it. Thanks Lirio 😜 and yes we also have all the DVDs.
I've always wanted the color of Slytherin, but wanted to be in Gryffindor. But when I found out from Pottermore that my house is Ravenclaw, I've come to love and embrace it. My patronus is Manx Cat. My wand is Hazel wood with a unicorn hair core, 10 ¾" and unyielding flexibility.
Under the Ilvermony School, my house is the Horned Serpent.
I'm happy to be a part of Harry Potter. Happy 20th Anniversary!
