Yohan's other daycare teacher knew I was looking for a patio set, I don't mind if it's second hand.
We've been to a couple of yard/estate sales and we didn't find any. I got a call from her while we were at IKEA yesterday, she's a blessing. She told me about this sale at the Base Exchange for a very reasonable price. I couldn't believe that she remembered and was genuinely offering to buy it for us and we'll just pay her after. It's about half an hour from where we live.
Her husband had to come back the next day because the set won't fit in their vehicle. He brought a trailer with him and delivered it straight to our home. They offered to do it, I didn't have a chance to think of other options. Everything was laid out for us. They'll buy it, pick it up and deliver to us. What a good deed?!
After her husband delivered it to us, she called me to check if I liked it. It's because I only decided by looking at the pictures. It's honestly beyond my expectations. It was half the original price, no tax and delivered to us. It's a dream!
I forgot to mention that our living room set from our old apartment that's now in our dining area came from her. Her son was selling it because they're going to replace theirs. When her son found out that she knew us, he did not charge us for it. He just gave it to us and also delivered to our apartment with his friend. We're so lucky to have them in our lives.
