Portland, Oregon and Seattle Washington Trip

Portland, Oregon and Seattle Washington road trip with family. 7.6.18 to 7.9.18

I'm grateful for Jeff's family for inviting us to travel with them this weekend. It's one for the books.

We didn't have a set itinerary; I was surprised we were able to accomplish a lot.

On our first day, we walked around Hyatt House.  We took pictures of the area. Then on our second day we proceeded to travel to Seattle, Washington. It's a three hour drive.

We explored the famous Pike Place Market. We bought pastries at Piroshky's. Of course we ate at Market Grill and tried the catch of the day. We didn't have the chance to try Pike Place Chowder. The line was so long.

We went to the Gum Wall but I really didn't go near it. I had my picture taken a few feet away from it. Please don't judge me. I felt it was gross. After exploring some more we headed the the Space Needle. It's almost closing and the price wasn't worth it. So we stayed by the park across it and relaxed a bit.

On our third day we headed to Multnomah Falls in Portland, Oregon. We ate  at Rooster Park picnic style. We went to Bridal Veil Falls too. There we were able to touch the water and it's cold. On our way to Woodburn outlets we accidentally stumbled upon Vista House Crown Point State Scenic Corridor. The view was spectacular.

There's no sales tax in Oregon. We took advantage of purchasing items we've been thinking of getting before. Also Jeff was stunned there's a gas attendant every time you fill up. We have that in the Philippines, it's just so weird experiencing it here. Stay Weird Portland!
