6 days postpartum.
I just really had to go and witness Yohan's awarding. I showered for the first time last night after giving birth. My back hurts, probably from the epidural. But I made it. I'm still a bit swollen. A lot of water retention because of all the meds they put in my body. I've only lost 10 lbs, Gideon was 6 lbs 13 oz, plus the water and placenta. So I didn't really lose any weight. I'll get there.
I need to produce more milk for Gideon. I'm going to need extra calories for that.
