Part Five Of Our Date

Part five of our date concluded at CPK for a late lunch. Although this was not our last stop. We had to do some grocery shopping done. Does that sound redundant to you? Ow, well.

Going back to our fifth destination, we savored a thin crust Sicilian pizza for lunch. Husband decided to have 20 teaspoons of sugar for his drink, I decided to have a glass of water with a small slice of lemon. We always order the same things. We don't always go to CPK, in fact we've only been there four or five times within eight years. So, we get the ones we know would make our palette happy.

I tell you, eating alone without a child to feed or to worry about the mess we're going to have was a liberating experience. Of course, I'm not saying I want that forever. I'd rather have a messy meal with my kids than dining alone in a large table. But once in a while when I'm with my husband, it really feels like a real date to have a meal when it's just the two of us :)
