Although almost everyone in my Facebook account uses Mother's Day (except for some teachers I know and Chris Villonco's comment in Gretchen Baretto's instagram) instead of mothers' day. I still prefer how I place my apostrophe. I interpret it as day of mothers, plural. People prefer the singular one, because they honor only their OWN mothers. I never grew up with one. So, I always greet day of mothers in plural sense. I was never intimate with my own, so there, don't be appalled. Happy Mothers' Day to all moms out there..
I finally had the cake I was salivating for days now. Layers of vanilla bean Bavaria, apricot jelly, nutty almond jaconde sponge cake :) I swear, it tasted better than it looked on my photo.
Yohan and Jeff surprised me with these , macarons and chocolate tart, plus a sweet card, signed by Yohan. In these photos, I included the ones she made for me in school and at kids camp. She's a sweetheart! Today, is the first time I truly understood why there's such a thing as day of mothers. It may sound cliche but it's true what they, even if you're so tired from work, once you see your child's face smiling at you. All the weariness disappears. :)
Hope you had a fantastic day. I had. I went home with salmon in the oven and a child that appreciates everything I do for her.
