Petrified 911 Call
It's an eventful day indeed. In my years living in the States, it's my first time calling 911as a panic-stricken adult. My husband threw out the garbage and noticed our neighbor's house was engulfed in fire. We immediately called 911. I was asked to calm down and was told that help was on its way. It must be a horrendous experience for our neighbors. The house was literally a few feet from where we were. The firefighters were there in just minutes. I was so amazed with the whole scenario. It was like a reel from the movies. Our street smelled like ash and was like when amount Pinatubo erupted. The skies turned gray for a few minutes. Then it cleared like it never happened. Although I can still smell the ashes. It was horrifying.
