Aguinaldo

It's been awhile since we've been to Seafood City. It's October, I forgot how much I miss the Christmas season in the Philippines. I heard my first Christmas music for 2016 at Seafood City today. I felt nostalgic. I remember going to Jeff's family reunion on Christmas. His parents and aunties would give me aguinaldos and I find astonishment in Jeff's bewildered face when he finds out I've got more aguinaldo than him. :)

Yohan: we haven't been in here in awhile. We used to come here a lot.

Me: yes, we used to.

Yohan: is it because we're not that rich?

I'm telling you, I laughed for a good full minute. And that is why I have never experienced Yohan throwing tantrums whenever she doesn't get what she wants, because when I tell her I don't have enough money to buy the stuff. She listens :)

Edit: she coaxed her Ninang Lirio into buying her that Inside Out book. Didn't throw a tantrum though, but we were at National Bookstore for a while because of that 😝
