Today Yohan learned how to ride a bike in just under 30 minutes. We've been meaning to teach her but the weather wasn't good and we had errands to run. And then it just slipped our mind. Today was great! She had a play date at the park. Perfect time to learn something new. I couldn't believe my eyes. I know every parent has felt this looking at their children do something new. The fear in our hearts that they might fall, scratch their legs or worst break their arms. Today was smooth and full of adrenaline. Jeffrey prepared pancakes filled bananas in the morning then off to the park we go. The park was just a mile from our home. I love our neighborhood.
I told her she will never forget this moment. Every time she would remember her dad teaching her how to ride, it would always be vivid. Just like how I remember when my AMA taught me how to. It's one of my fondest memories of my father. He was very patient with me. I now have tears in my eyes writing this. My AMA wasn't known to have done such a thing but he did with me.
As a reward for a fun filled morning. I tried cooking Chicken Pot Pie. I must say it's good for a first time. I did it in a cast iron skillet.
