Thank you, I couldn't reply to all your lovely  messages. Although Gideon is fine and passed 3 of 4 of his sugar tests, hearing and heart test, I'm not really doing well.

I won't bore you with the painful specifics of labor. The hospital didn't let me have food for a total of 18 hours, that includes the time prior to my surgery and after.

That took a toll on my body after. They pumped me with so much IV meds my feet and other parts started to swell. I was recovering fast and well until all the meds kicked in and because I didn't have food for 18 hours I was so constipated I couldn't concentrate or even sit properly and feed Gideon well.

They allowed me to go home after two days even though C-section patients stay for longer. Only because the only problem I had was my bowel movement. I was so gassy it hurts.

I got a bit better when we got home but I fell asleep and forgot to take pain meds. When I woke up I could feel the incision, I was shaking when I went to pee. I'm still having a hard time moving because I feel so much pain.

I'm just really glad Jeff and Yohan are great support system. When I woke up from a nap, I saw Yohan carrying Gideon and rocking him back to sleep. Jeff finished cooking dinner and I'm now writing this.

I didn't think of holding my phone the whole time I got sick. So I didn't have any pic of Gideon coming home 😞 Even when we got home. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow.

If you're going to ask us what we need now, papaya. Papaya is what I need now. πŸ˜‰

I have a picture of Yohan and Gideon down here.

My solo pic was when I just gave birth and not constipated yet. I enjoyed ube from my in-laws in the Philippines.

Gideon has his daddy's chin. So cute!

Yohan was emotional there.

Gideon has been colicky lately. We're not a fan of pacifier. But it helps us these days.

He also has some baby acne on his cheeks, but the miracle of water heals it. It's going away now. Maybe in just two or three days his cheeks will be clear.

Yohan had it when she was a baby too. Her Pedia told me to just pat it with cloth and water. It went away.

He has lost 8 ounces, it's normal for a newborn. I finally had milk in my breasts last night. Gideon has been enjoying my colostrum the past few days.

Any advice for gas/colic?

Happy Anniversary hon! πŸŽŠπŸ™πŸΎπŸ₯‚

Here's my gift, perfectly wrapped in swaddling clothes πŸ‘Ά

The pink blankie was Yohan's when she was a baby. It's 11 years old and in good condition, so I'm using it for Gideon. I don't mind the color, it makes my baby warm.

We might need to change our laundry detergent to a milder one. So Gideon won't have the baby acne on his cheeks.

When Yohan was a baby, she had it too and we changed our detergent to the brand All.

This time we're going to use the baby detergent called Dreft.

Gideon is slowly gaining back his weight. His at 6 lbs 1 oz today. 😁
