Her mistakes should have been just puppet and suggest. Those double letter words. I didn't pronounce lettuce right and she asked me about happened ( like it happened, that's why past tense) and I didn't elaborate collar. It's tough  being a teacher. Kudos to them.-- this was a pretend test at home.

The Beauty of Reading

I was reading a fan fiction and laughed so hard. My daughter was wondering why every time I read something I laugh. I told her there were funny scenes. She then told me "there aren't even pictures in there" 

I explained that's the beauty of reading. You can interpret it anyway you want it and your imagination runs wild. You put together all these scenes in your head. That's way better than looking at a picture. 

My Busy Buddy

After reading My Busy Body with Yohan. I asked 

Me: so what's the most important body part? 

Yohan: my hands 

Me: why? 

Yohan: because I use it to grab my Nook ( an ereader)
