I don't have the most glamorous, perfect, spotless, smooth, even skin tone. But I love to share what works for me. I'm the type of person that I don't want you to go through what I've been through, acne wise.
The most effective for me was taking an oral tablet called Doryx. I've used this before I got pregnant. I looked at my old photos and really saw the difference with my skin when I was taking it and when I stopped. I don't anymore, I'm a married woman and this type of drug harms the fetus if ever you get pregnant. Accidents do happen I just didn't want to take the risk. Yes, love can do that. To your unborn child. I'm not pregnant though. I'm just saying sometimes, birth controls don't work. So if you're trying to get pregnant, DO NOT take this drug.
Going back, I used a product called Differin. I just applied this at night. Use sunblock when you're going out the following day.
Sadly, I don't use the brand anymore. My insurance would only pay for generic. Which is adapalene. It also works, but not as good as the brand.
I heard that it's over the counter in the Philippines. Well, take advantage of it. Because it costs hundreds of dollars here.
Good luck in your quest for great skin. :)
Here are photos of myself sans face powder when I was using it religiously.
