80 Degrees, Longsleeves And Boots

I don't understand fathers when choosing outfits for their children when the moms were not around. I picked up my kid from daycare. I saw her sweating profusely. She came to me and started complaining  on how it was too hot. It may have been 84 degrees that day. So my first question was "then why were you wearing longsleeves and boots?"  Her simply response was "papa did this". Really, I don't get it.
