My Fabulous Husband In Heavenly

It was an eventful Saturday. We woke up really early so we could meet up with friends on time. Our travel time was longer because we avoided Highway 50 due to road construction.  At around 8:00 AM we were pulled over by a police officer. My husband was driving 82 miles per hour going downhill in Truckee on a very foggy day. It was 40 degrees outside. I could not get mad because I didn't want to ruin our trip. We're just going to wait in the mail on how much fine we are  going to pay. Plus I couldn't forget when my husband borrowed my sunglasses. I had two in my car, one Oakley that I've had for 8 years, And a Kenneth Cole. He first chose Oakley because it's unisex, but gave it back because he couldn't see because of some scratches. When I handed him my girlie Kenneth Cole. He said "Do I look fabulous?". Hehehe. I couldn't help but laugh. 

We decided to use OnStar for the directions going to Heavenly Gondola. I thought the address they provided was weird. But we used it anyway because we could not get the address from our GPS. The location was between California and Nevada. Other half of the mountain was California and the half Nevada. In short, we got lost. Hehe. Good thing it was 4 minutes away from the actual location. 

Ate Cora and Tere bought us tickets for the gondola ride. The ride  going up the mountain was exhilarating. We had our pictures taken and goofed around. The really fun part for me began when we were tubing. I had so much fun that if it wasn't too tiring I would have done it many times. But it was exhausting carrying your tube up the mountain even though there was an escalator. I was surprised with Yohan though. She had the most number of times tubing than the rest of us. She said "I'm not scared of anything! Only ghosts." ;) 

I've worked in Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa before. We talked about other people when they go to our hotel when they were booked at the other hotel which was The Plaza Hotel.  How it was crazy that they made those mistakes. Well, I've experienced it too. I told my husband we were booked at Quality Inn, three minutes from Heavenly Village. Our GPS said .8 miles more and we already passed Quality Inn. When GPS said "you've reached your destination" we were in front of Days Inn. I couldn't talk. I checked my email confirmation and it was Days Inn..  I texted a Tere and told her the incident. She made me laugh because she said "as long as there's the word Inn".
