Today was Family Appreciation Day at Yohan's school. It was early and raining hard but I made it to her school.
It's really the little things that kids notice about us parents. How watching me let the cat purr on me makes her happy. Or how making a simple mac n cheese would mean a lot to them. Even making their beds! They notice these.
I know I'm not the best cook, but for Yohan, she seems to appreciate what I make for the family all the time 🙂 I also don't know how she described me as loving and kind because I'm at my absolute worst lately.

Edit: she said McDonald's sometimes because I always say no when she asks 😉 so those a few times I said yes she really appreciates.
